Cheap 'n easy - the lady herself

I figured I'd best introduce myself. I'm Sietske, but you may call me cheap, or cheap 'n easy. Now don't call me just easy, because I'm not that kinda girl. Easygoing, sure. Easy, nah.

Life has thrown me the fair share of curve balls. I don't mind, since I just go with the flow.. Life is too complicated to complicate my life any further.

In December 2011 myself and Mr.Cheap got custody of his four-year-old and in January 2012 our other son was born. Then I hit the big 3-0 last summer. In October I had to stop working.. So in less than a year my whole life got turned upside down. I wouldn't trade it for the world, but it sure has made me look for cheap 'n easy more than ever.

Now a few months later I am growing vegetables in the backyard and I am in the process of building a chicken coop for a half a dozen hens. I'm working some from home as a freelance graphic artist and it seems I am adding blogger to my resume as well.

We're living the life; finding the beauty in simplified, pure living.

 Just as many other have had to do.
